The Obama campaign launched advertisements geared towards Latino voters today. The ads are hitting the airwaves in key battleground states like Nevada, Colorado and Florida. The GOP is also trying to court the Latino vote--the Republican National Committee’s announced this week that they are stepping up their own Latino outreach efforts.
The latest Gallup poll showed Obama’s approval rating among Latino’s at 61 percent — he carried this group of voters in 2008 with 67 percent of the vote.
